There are two sides to everything. In motorcycling there is the side that has to
do with the bike itself--owning it, riding, maintaining and customizing it. This
is the side that many of us think about most of the time whether we are in the
showroom or reading the latest motorcycle journal or just out for a ride. Buells
have given this side of motorcycling a whole new meaning. The excitement and pure
lust for this bike is something many of us have been waiting for, for years. The
Buell is simply the most fun motorcycle to ride, maintain, customize, read about,
and stare at that has come down the pike. So if you own a Buell, this side of
motorcycling is totally satisfied.
The other side of motorcycling is the social side--going to events, meeting new people,
making new friends, talking about the sport, etc. This is the side that American
Thunderbike Club is all about. It's an organization to bring Buell riders together via
helping with events and rallies, and ATC's web site. ATC is the fastest growing BOG
in the USA, with members from 47 states and 8 countries overseas. We have been averaging
a new member each day! ATC is working on a number of National Rallies for 2006. We call
them the "Gathering of the Herd" starting with Daytona in March. Every month
this site will be updated with all the newest information we receive.
So welcome to American Thunderbike Club, and we hope you enjoy this site. This is just the
beginning for ATC. As the membership grows, so will the web site. The important thing is
for you to get involved. We want your input, comments, photos, and energy. The more we all
put into ATC, the better the club will be.
