Carbon Fiber! It seems that with Buells there are two or three ways to
go when making your bike a bit different. You can go with Polished aluminum,
or maybe even chromed parts. Then there is Carbon Fiber. I call this the
"go fast" look.
American Sport Bike was the first after-market company this year in the USA to release
Carbon products for the XB9r & XB9s modeled Buells. Trojan Horse in the UK was the first
company to release Carbon product for the new model Buells.
So Tat from American Sport Bike sent us some of his products to put onto the XB9S to display
at Daytona this year (2003). After the installation, I was able to get in a couple of cold weather
rides out to Moto-Market in Acton, MA before heading off to Daytona. The response was great even
from guys that don't ride Buells. They thought the Carbon fit the look of the Buell and it's new design
frame over the plastic that came stock.
We had 5 new Carbon pieces to add to the XB9S.

All the parts from ASB had a nice fit and finish. All hardware was provided. I was able to install all the parts
except the rear fender in under an hour. To install the rear fender you'll need to remove the rear wheel.
Not a problem, just added about another hour to the job.
The parts look great, and with these 5 carbon parts added the bike, it almost looked as it had come stock with Carbon Fiber.
I've answered the question a couple of hundred times. Nope those are after market products, not stock. Here at ATC we have almost
all the ASB products and again ASB hit a home run with it's new Carbon products for your XB9r & XB9s. Most anyone who has owned
